The Handicap Calculator Section of the Minthis Golf Club Members website.

This form enables you to find your Playing Handicap (HCP) for a certain set of tees on the four main Cyprus golf courses, or any golf course for which you know the USGA ratings (PAR, CR, SR).

N.B. While every effort is made to ensure that the calculation of playing handicaps is correct, courses may re-rate their tees and so you should double-check the value obtained from this calculator with the Handicap Tables (HDC tables) for the appropriate tees of the relevant course.

Instructions

  1. Input your Exact Handicap followed by the <TAB> or <RETURN> key.
  2. If it is a "plus" handicap (fewer than 0.1% of golfers have such a handicap) select the "Yes" "Plus HCP" radio-button. You will be asked to confirm this.
  3. Select whether it is an EGA (default) or CONGU handicap.
  4. If you are playing a course that is not listed, go to the "Other" course row (at the end of the table) and input the PAR, CR (Course Rating) and SR (Stroke Rating) for the tees.
  5. N.B. Internet Explorer does not update fields if you add a text field such as your handicap, Par, CR or SR and then just hit <RETURN>. In this case hit the <TAB> key; to update the playing HCPs.
  6. Your EGA Playing Handicap will be displayed for all the tees on all the courses.
